Putin sends a letter to the participants in the Arab Summit held in Algeria

 


Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a letter of greetings to the participants in the 31st Arab Summit held in Algeria, stressing the importance of the role played by the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.

"The world is witnessing significant political and economic changes," Putin said in his letter , adding that "the process of forming a multipolar system in international relations, based on the principles of equality, justice and respect for each other's legitimate interests, is gaining momentum."

The Russian president stressed the importance of the role played by Arab countries, saying that "the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, with a population of nearly half a billion people, are playing an increasingly important role in this process."
