Launched in 1995, Microsoft's software for surfing the Internet reached its peak in the early 2000s when it was installed by default on Windows computers. Before being dethroned by Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
It’s a time when the more daring downloaded from Kazaa or eMule with a limited speed and browsed the first websites worthy of the name with Internet Explorer. Sometimes with some nervous breakdowns at the slowness of Microsoft's browser, but without really any alternatives.
This product built for Windows will be gone for good by next summer.
Microsoft has indeed announced in a blog post the end of support for Internet Explorer 11 as of June 15 of next year.
