US Health Secretary Alex Azar said Friday that approval by the United States for an experimental vaccine against COVID-19 from Pfizer should be issued within days.
Azar added, speaking on ABC's "Good Morning America" program, that the US Food and Drug Administration has informed the drug company that it intends to proceed with licensing the vaccine.
He added that the federal government will also work with the company to ship the vaccine.
